Accessibility
Accessibility Statement.
Last updated: May 2026
Friends of Nenagh Hospital wants everyone in our community to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology or who find some websites difficult to use. We are committed to making our site as accessible as we can.
How we try to make this site accessible
We have built this website to:
- use clear, plain language throughout;
- work with a keyboard, so you do not need a mouse to navigate;
- provide text descriptions for meaningful images so screen readers can describe them;
- use colours and text sizes chosen for readable contrast;
- adapt to different screen sizes, from mobile phones to large desktops.
Conformance
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is something we keep working on, and we review the site as we make changes.
Known limitations
Our contact page includes an embedded map provided by a third-party service, which we do not control and which may not be fully accessible. If you need directions or our location in another format, please contact us and we will be glad to help.
Tell us what you think
If you come across any part of this website that is difficult to use, or if you need information from it in a different format, we want to hear from you. Please get in touch or email info@friendsofnenaghhospital.ie. We will do our best to put things right.
